The Board of Trustees
San Antonio Community Hospital is governed by a fifteen-member Board
of Trustees. The members of the Board
of Trustees of San Antonio Community Hospital serve voluntarily
without remuneration. The fifteen-member Board consists of five physicians
and ten non-physicians. Each trustee
brings a unique background of expertise and experience that is invaluable
in guiding San Antonio Community Hospital. The Board of Trustees
is responsible for the quality of the medical care provided at the
hospital.
The Medical Staff
The Medical Staff of San Antonio Community Hospital
is comprised of nearly 500 physicians granted privileges to practice
at the hospital. The Medical Staff is charged with the responsibility
of monitoring and improving the medical care provided at the hospital.
The
Administration
The administration of the hospital is responsible for day-to-day operations
and for carrying out policies and directives approved by the Board
of Trustees.
